So this is what I decided to do for our one year wedding anniversary. It couldn't have gone better. Dh also got me a Wii Fit a couple weeks ago and baked me a cake...
It is quite delicious.
So on to the zoo pics. Most of the animals were sleeping because it was hot already at 10:30 this morning, but the water animals were quite busy.

Elephant; This guy was the only one out. Recently, a baby girl elephant was born and they were all inside so it was hard to see them with all the people, but I got a couple blurry shots through the glass of the little girl.

The penguins were also very active, but I couldn't get a single good shot. Between their fast movements, the lighting, and the splashed on glass, it was impossible.
