    Mix I bet. Looks small for a Dane to me as well. Looks about Cleo sized.

    hmmm true looking at her again. i think they said she was 2 years old. that stand alone pic she looks like a young purebred except for the colours.. still i had to ask if its a rare thing or what lol

    she looks like a Coonhound Mix to me. Kinda like Grady actually...a lot.

    dopes with large dogs often think there's a Dane in the background.  There may be here, but I agree with Gina - very mutt/mix.

    I feel that it's a mix too, although I will admit that the dog shows a strong resemblance of a Dane in the first of the two pic's.

    I know there are some backyard Dane breeders who are purposely breeding blacks to fawns, fawns to harles and even brindles to harles or blacks which is against the Code of Ethics, and plays havoc on the breed.

    While tan point is noted to exist in the Great Dane breed that dog looks like a mix of a couple other breeds and not actually a Dane at all.
