  Dunkin Donuts vs. Starbucks vs...Other? Reply Contact   I'm defintiely a Dunkin Donuts gal myself. In fact when they are nearly right next to each other (or across the street) I will purposely go into DD. Aside from the huge difference in price, DD just tastes a world better to me. And I kind of feel like there is a different attitude all together when you go into a Starbucks versus a DD Just my opinion...   So, which do you guys prefer? -Ellen The dog is a gentlman. Reply Contact I dunno.  I don't think I've ever had Dunkin Donuts coffee and I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've been in a Starbucks.  I know ... I'm weird. I noticed they're selling DD coffee at the grocery stores now, but at about $10 a pound, I think I'll pass. Joyce

Reply Contact I have never had Dunkin Donuts coffee but I LOVE Starbucks!  And yes, I know I am paying a small fortune for my overpriced coffee but I don't care, I still love it!  It is usually a once a week treat unless it is tax season when it becomes an everyday treat.  I haven't been in a few weeks though.  I make pretty good coffee at home if I do say so myself! ~Sarah, Harley & Izzy~ boneyjean.blogspot.com

Reply Contact  I used to drink Starbucks religiously, which in turn starting taking a huge toll on my stomach area because I didn't just get a cup of coffee, I absolutely loved the Mocha's and Latte's..then my husband turned me on to DD's!! I loveeeee their coffee, and its cheaper. Unfortunately DD's are few and far between around here, but luckily we live 10 mins. away from one. I like all my coffee iced, so when I go it has to be an iced coffee, usually with carmel added, yum!! I still go into Starbuck's but I only get black tea lemonades now....even though the new Mint Mocha Chip Frappuccino looks very tasty!   ~~ Jenn ~~ "Dogs are miracles with paws"

Reply Contact I HATE coffee, so I woul dbe the last one to ask!  However, I think people are nutso to spend $4.00+ for a lousy COFFEE.  Heck, I can get a mixed well drink for that (or less!) at a happy hour.  Not that I go to bars, but that's another story!

Reply Contact I'm a huge DD fan.  I go daily sometimes twice.  I don't care about cost because it's my only vice.  Willow knows the drill too, smile and look extremely cute and fake being friendly so she gets her snack thru the window!  I'm not a fan of dark roast coffee which is why I don't like Starbucks much.

  Re: Dunkin Donuts vs. Starbucks vs...Other? Reply Contact DUNKIN DONUTS! OMG...if you only knew how addicted I am. I get probably 2-3 large iced coffee's everyday- even in the winter. Thank doG I use skim milk and Splenda....imagine all the calories if I used cream and sugar? In the morning me & Apollo walk to DD's, the girls actually know us both by name and come out with my coffee (and a munchkin for him) when they see us coming (also a perk for living in a small town), and I just give them my money right there so I don't ever have to leave him outside the store. I do not like Starbucks anything, but when I was in college they were everwhere and there was no DD's, it was like the twilight zone! BTW- I can drink coffee all day, before bed, and it seems not to affect me (it probably does though) but I get 8+ hours of good sleep every night!

Reply Contact Well, we don't have Dunkin Donuts here in canada.. but we do have Tim Hortons.   I'm a ex-tim hortons cashier/baker and oh my god.. canadians love tim hortons way too much. However, if I personally had to pick, I'd take starbucks.. although timmies certainly is waaaayyy cheaper. ***These aren't my dogs!*** If my picture is too big please tell me. :)

Reply Contact I have a commercial style Bunn coffee maker....the big pour over model....which is currently sitting in storage since I don't have room for it in the RV.  That baby makes GREAT coffee.  And my everyday coffee is DD and has been for years.  I have been known to drive for three or more hours to stock up on coffee beans.  But, now you can order DD on line and have been able to for a number of years, which makes life easier if I don't happen to live near one. However, I do enjoy the Starbucks or Seatles Best...which I'm told are the same thing....Breakfast Blend and I get the Henry's ground for my espresso maker.  Our Borders cafe serves SB and honestly two bucks for a regular coffee or four for a latte?  No question which I'm gonna get...the latte wins every time.  One of the grocery stores has an actual Starbucks, and it's fine, and a little less than SB at Borders, but,I tend to like the SB better. I do think that Starbucks or SB is more an acquired taste.  I've acquired all the way up to the French Roast now.......but then, I've only got a Braun coffee maker in the RV so it can use all the help it can get....... But, then, I'm not at all serious about my coffee......  I drink way too much of it, and by golly, I want it just so. A house without fur is not a home. Glenda

Reply Contact Starbucks for my Vente Carmel Mocha Frappacino with whipped cream (of course) Love thier cranberry orange scones, Coffee is a rarity for me, hot coffee anyway. ....  And then I guess it is a Southern thing, Krispy Kreme is the king of fresh donuts although a new company called Daylight donuts is fast becoming a family favorite.  Friends of ours placed a puppy with the KK family and when they go to the Garden each year they all fly on Krispy Kreme One ! I am a simple yeast glaze girl. Maybe once a year I will go for a bravarian creme filled. But if I am going for a filled donut I prefer a Kolache. Again it is a once a year thing. My husband loves yeast glazed with that thick white frosting added to it, I would be in a sugar coma!!
