Yay, I'm so glad Monroe is home.  Give him some kisses from me.  And be sure to give him some nummy treats.  He's been through a lot lately.

Well - I'm at work so I'll give you the latest update.

Monroe finally had a relaxed sleep until 10 PM and when DH checked on him he walked out of his crate, down the stairs, outside, went potty then he went straight back up to his crate.  He slept all night and DH put down food/water for him this morning which he didn't touch.

DH gave him his meds with peanut butter so that he would have something to digest with it.

He has the most pathetic look about him right now and he is obviously in pain and willing to just chill in his crate.  We've been keeping Morrison "the pest" away from him too.

Awwwwwwww, Poor baby.  I would try putting something yummy in his food to get him to eat.  I'd be more concerned about him not drinking.  I'd try putting chicken broth in his food & maybe in his water.  Feel better, handsome boy.  Give Monroe some kisses on his forehead for me.

Do you know how to make the classic ground beef/chicken/turkey and rice combo? I do a cup of water, a cup of rice, and 1/2 lb. of whichever meat I have. I cook the rice for maybe 30 mins and then stir in the meat and let it get nice and cooked. It's Pirate's MOST FAVORITE THING EVER. He thinks Monroe might like it too ;)
