    Who remembers?

My brain has gone dead. I can't remember who this was or what to look for.

Who here remembers the dog that got bit by a snake while hiking on rocks with his owner and little sister?  The snake went to bit at the slittle sister and the dog save it....getting bit really bad himself. She used to post pictures weekly of his healing progress...and it wasn't too quickly. I remember sitting here and crying over that dog. I can't remember who it was.

Any help in finding that thread?

    No Carla,,but thanks anyway.

It was a girl that posted here all the time...I can't even remember what kind of dog it is.   But there were countless pictures of the dog bite and its healing process.

I'm sure some of the "elders" around here will remember. LOL!

    Re: Who remembers?

The dog lived in Texas  - there were three dogs.  The one that was bitten was black, brown and white - an Aussie maybe?  It was the daughter that was the poster.  It'll come to me , but it may take a few days.

I don't remember it at all and I'm definitely one of the "elders". I hope someone can remember it though. Stuff like this drives me crazy :)

    HHHHMmmm!

Gee,,,I almost feel like I am dreaming this..... it was so vivid...the pictures so gruesome. They didn't think the dog was going to make it for a while.

Now if I could only work the archives thread!  Think I tried that before.

    Re: Who remembers?

I remember her, but I couldn't remember her name either. I'd often thought about her and that story. Think I tried to search for it once...without success. That was quite the story and she had it all in pictures that was for sure. One of her dogs was a tri-color collie, I'm thinking. The dog that was bitten may have been an Aussie, as Yankee suggested. Can't remember the other dog though.

    I'm not a puppy here. I've been around i-dog (aka dog.com) since, I believe it was, 2001.
