Also, there is a bit of a running gag in your quip.
Little did I know I was channeling humour from the days of Yore... Just to be clear, I love a man who is not intimidated by his feminine side. I'm married to one, in fact. But I don't know that he'd go so far as being a chartered member of an old broads club. Neither of us are much interested in club memberships. We're more Mavericks, like John McCain. LOL

Which still puts you in a club, the club of non-conformists, n'est pas?

I'm sure we're in some kind of club, but the John McCain thing was supposed to be funny. Stick out tongue  I'll join Glenda in her Old Hippie's Club any day. Gee, I do belong! Big Smile

    Re: Just to be clear

You can pm me any ole time. And DPU is right. The icon for private message is a woman sitting at the computer. Where do I lodge a complaint of sexism? I guess I can't do that, since I am an old broad. An old broad who's 6' 6 " and weighs 243 lbs (yes, I've lost 10 pounds) and wears 13 W for footwear. If I keep losing weight, I'l get back down to my girlish figure.

    Re: Just to be clear

((((hands raised))))  Please....I want to be part of the club too!!!  And I can fit into either the ole hippies club or the ole broads club given my age - being my oldest son has feet as big as Ron's must count for something and given he's 6.3" - 245 lbs and feet for paddles is proof I fit in!Surprise

    Re: Just to be clear

Well, Jaime, yes.  This gently aging hippie, tough old broad, treat dispensing butler, IS living in the RV yet again.  And praying VERY hard for a job and a place TO move.  We are starting month three in the campground so things are getting easier, more into a routine.  But, gosh, we really need to find a job and a regular income FAST.  It's been seven LONG months.....

That's it Anne.  I'll come up there, live in your yard, with bathroom privledges, or course, since my cats own the bathroom and the litter box sits in the shower.....learn how to be a dog trainer, and get our clique going BIG time....
