    Just to be clear

It seems that some members feel that things are running amuck here on the forum, that our admin and moderators are doing things a bit one side or holding grudges against certain members. Actually this is as far from the truth that these particular members could be.

All suspensions are handled through Meghan and myself. We give last and final word on all suspensions. So let it be known and understood that no one except Meghan and I are to blame for your time outs, suspensions and ultimately your banning from this forum, other then yourself for exhibiting the behavior to get you to that place.

My presence may not be here on a daily basis as it once was but I am fully aware of what is going on and reading. It is when the lines are crossed that you will see me as my time permits. Meghan is also here reading, actually more then me so we are fully aware of the cliques as well as business out side of our forum.

As always, what happens on other forums, chat lists is just that. It does not pertain to this forum UNTIL you act on it and bring it to this forum.

Any questions, contact Meghan or myself

    Jaime

    Re: Just to be clear

    Hi Sue!

It's never ending. You know how it goes, no matter who it is they just aren't the right person for the job. Even when I was here more, there were plenty who thought I wasn't doing a good enough job or things were not run correctly, Jim's way was the best..all hail Jim, yada, yada. Our Mods and Admin work through some really tough times.

There are some really great people on the forum but as usual there are some that just like to stir the **** and can't be positive and post worth while information. As with everything else, this too shall pass.

Hope you had a great mothers day!

    Re: Just to be clear

I knew a thread like this couldn't go long without someone bringing up that 'beating a dead horse" emoticon.  As far as I know, if I know anything, all the action took place in pm so I don't think there was anything to see on the forum.  And I think a very good point that should be made is that when contacted by Admin/Mods in pm, the rules still apply and common courtesy is expected.

    Re: Just to be clear

Wow... ya just never know what's going on behind the scenes. I like a bit of drama, so I'm sorry to have missed this little morsel, but I'm glad everything is resolved. It's hard to know who to trust.

I kinda prefer clicker goddess... Wink But what's even more amazing is that this time, we can't blame the Cesarenies, either! LOL Makes me mighty curious... Who's left? LOL I guess we just have to trust that the PTB know what they're doing. Smile

    Thanks, Jaime, for the clarification.

Geeze, I miss all the good stuff too.

Members have NO idea how hard mods work to be fair, and how in the process, tend to tick off people that they really DO like, because they are being fair.  Or the total lack of respect some members show to mods.  It's a pretty thankless job and all they are trying to do is to keep the forum running smoothly without a lot of bickering and personal attacks.

End of my two cents worth.......

This came as a surprise to me too.

Aside from a few hot topics and heated threads, I thought things were generally much improved from the past turmoil.

    Re: Just to be clear

Me too, Angelique.    But, there always seems to be some fussing and gripping going on behind he scemes.  I guess thats just going to happen when we have so many members and folks who have wildly divergent beliefs.  It's just too bad that the disagreement can't always remain respectful.

    Re: Just to be clear

True Glenda, no one really knows what it's like to manage all the diversities and conflicts. The this one said that, that one said this and no one likes me's that goes on besides what people read on the board. What's worse is when people feel they can cat and mouse others to get a rise and the person really does give them a rise and they get the grief. Attackes can be very sutle and mean.

The stuff that happens in cliques here is so childish I sometimes wonder how these people function in society!!

I'm glad most of you missed it, it came about by some people who need to suck it up and realize there is a great big world out there and again what happens some place else doesn't belong here...end of story! I post on several other forums, I've even had a mod here catch me at one which surprised me that they were there but again, what I say or do there has nothing to do with here and vice verse.

I guess think of this forum like Las Vegas without the dancing girls..

    Re: Just to be clear

there is also the ASSUMPTION of cliques.  I've been accused of that myself many times.  For example, if I post in support of a post of Spiritdogs, I'm part of her clique.  Nope.....I just happen to agree with most of what she says.  Until we get to that darned clicker stuff.....and I don't NOT agree with that....I'm just too clumsy to click when I'm supposed to, and too absentminded to remember when the heck I put one of my several.....Surprise

I think that often members will see posters who "stick together" in their minds, and figure that we have some secret society going on.  And I suppose that does happen to some degree, but certainly not the way some folks think.

And, am I still your very favorite??Wink

    Re: Just to be clear

Nope, you were never my favorite although many on the forum precieved that one too...LOL! Oh wait, you weren't called my favorite, you were one of my "pets" and of course that list was long too...Anne was on it along with a few others but I won't out the rest of them...hehehehehe
