How much to feed

  Cazzy Joined on 05-03-2006 Posts 866 Points 25	How much to feed Reply Contact  I have a new foster a 3 month old Belgian Shepherd, with a broken leg, who has to be on crate rest...I am feeding him Innova adult 1 cup am and 1 cup pm.. is that enough for a 3 month old.? Weight 32lbs

Although he is on crate rest, healing animals need more calories/pound then those that aren't. I'd probably up it a bit and watch the weight carefully :) Here I am stuck in the middle with you I practice societal sanctioned assault

He is limited on how much he can walk right now 10 min tops, poor little guy..keeping a 3 month old in a crate that is full of energy is not that easy..Lots of toys and things to chew on.
