Who did you train with?  I'm wondering if I know her;-))

Julia McDonough of Fortunate K9.   I didn't realize how good I had it until I experienced others.  She's fantastic in her skills with dogs, their handlers, her writing (many of her articles are published and/or distributed in shelters around the country), etc.  MAN I miss training w/her.  I got SOOO much out of it.  I value and really enjoy her balanced approach to training.

Re: how far do you travel?

My training club is 30 minutes door to door -- mostly interstate driving, about 30 miles away.  I don't consider it far to drive at all, as we're used to going that far for all of our shopping.

We go there twice a week -- once for Kaiser, once for Luke.  We have agility trials there once a month, on average.

When I travel for trials they can be anywhere from 2 to 5 hours away (so far...).  Next year I will likely attend NADAC Nationals and that will be a bit bigger trip for us.

Kaiser -- Alaskan Klee Kai (12-30-07)
    Sar -- Arabian gelding (4-11-80)
    Norman -- Percheron/TB gelding (6-18-00)
