GAS!!! How much does it cost where you live?

I live in Ohio and it just went up to $3.80 a gallon. Angry I commute to work 40 minutes there and back 5x a week. The cost of gas is killing my wallet! Anyone else feeling the pain? Crying

I paid $4.04 a little over a week ago (I have to use premium). Yesterday I drove by the same station and it was $4.19. My commute is only about 15 miles each way but I'm still feeling the pinch. Sad

Wow!!!  Our $3.48 doesn't seem so bad after hearing what you are paying.

No kidding, huh?  It cost me $55 to fill up the last time, so I can't even imagine what all the soccer moms are paying to fill up their monster SUVs - ugh!!  Oil reached $122 a barrel and the "experts" are predicting it'll get to $150 or even $200. I'm hoping to convince my boss to allow me to telecommute a couple days a week if it gets much higher.

Right!  My 3.44, while cutting into my entertainment fund, is still cheaper than most.  Too bad I don't live close enough to work to drive a Vespa!

As awful as all this gas price business is, I TRY and look at it as things could always be worse.  I remember my parents telling my sister and me about the gas shortage where they had to line up around the block on their given day just to get what they got!  Hopefully those days won't happen again.

It was $3.59 when I drove past this morning.

We get hosed on gas here in WI -- I understand that other people are paying more, but I live in a DIRT CHEAP part of the country.  If you compare what we pay for other stuff vs. other areas to what we pay in gas, we're paying a lot.

I think I remember that.  Maybe around 1979 or '80?  I was driving a big old gas guzzling station wagon and I was horrified every time I had to shell out $25 to fill it up.  Last night it cost me $40+ to fill up a 12 gallon tank that wasn't even empty enough for the light to come on. Crying

10 minutes from the Gulf Of Mexico it is 3.53 a gal reg.  In Perry Ga where we are showing this weekend it is 3.55 So the increaase won't kill us. The bad part is planing ahead to make sure we have the most gas possible in the RV at all times now that Summer is here and Hurricane Season is upon us.

Now I don't know the conversion, so work with me here, it may sound like a deal but it really isn't!  Gas here is up to $1.25/litre I pay about $1.32/litre because I use silver gas.  Considering that gas here used to be at the $0.90 - $1.00 mark it's killing us.

I drive about 40 minutes to and from work each day.  It's awful!  It costs me over $55 to fill up, and I'm driving a city jetta! Not a big truck!

Re: GAS!!! How much does it cost where you live?

Yesterday was $3.59, not sure today as I didn't look but I do need gas, and seeing where some neighboring states are at with gas prices is making me a bit nervous to fill up later.

Ouch. $1.32/liter is $5/gallon (3.8 liters in a gallon..and the US dollar isn't worth any more than the Canadian dollar at the moment).

I paid $3.93 (regular.. I can't imagine having to get premium) the other day in my sister's Explorer. Put in $50 and it was like 2/3 of a tank. Crying
