Um, is Bailey the turncoat?  I'm sorry for not remembering.

    Re: Bailey

Annie has it right - Bailey was Yanke's dog who became bonded with Yanke's son and moved with him.  But Yanke was only playing when he called him Benedict Arnold!   Well, mostly, right Yanke.

Yanke, I posted elsewhere, but I'll say again here I'm so sorry your family has lost him and the end came so suddenly and unexpectedly.  He was a lucky dog - loved by all his humans.

    Re: Bailey

Yank, so sorry to hear of Bailey's passing.  It sounds like he was a special boy who was lucky enough to have that kind of special bond with your son.

Our sympathies are with you and your son.

I almost posted that Yanke was "mostly" kidding when he called Bailey a Benedict Arnold, but I didn't want to offend!!  Wink
