    Yes [Y] Elkhound vs. Furminator!

     And the Furminator WINS! WOWWWWW!!

Even though it's been snowing all day and is only 40° at the most....I had to try my new score. A pet store was going out of business and I got a medium Furminator for 20% off. So it was probably close to an internet price, minus shipping. I think it was $32.00.

Price doesn't matter so much because we went out on the balcony for only five minutes and I am AMAZED! Flabbergasted! I kept looking at it to see if it was just cutting his fur, but no, nearly everything that was coming out was just underfur. WOW!

I am so glad I bought that thing!

Jean-Willow would like to know if you could take her for the next say three months or so--it's 60 degrees here and she's hot already and it's only spring!

Don't over Furminate--you don't want to take too much undercoat off.

I'm grooming Shadow just about every day and the undercoat is still coming out in tufts, though I have kept up with it as well as I can. Often, outside, where the fur can just fly away.

And a cardinal has built a nest for two chicks in our aloe vera hanging plant. Probably from some of the fur.

Isn't it amazing?!?!?!  I LOVE the Furminator!!!  Just wish it would work on Indie.  Sad   His guard hairs are too long and it butchers them.  The birdies are thankful for all the fluff my 3 have contributed!

Ole has very long guard hairs, too. But I looked and looked and it didn't seem to be cutting them...though he started looking lighter. Hmmmmm.

What? No before and after picture?! :o)

I've been wanting to get one for my parents cat... she's SUPER hairy this winter.

Great price, too. I saw it at Petsmart for $49.99 eek!

No before and after pictures until it stops snowing outside. I sure as heck am not going to furminate in the house! I think that would defeat the purpose, LOL  !

We love the Furminator here too.  Well, for Crusher.  Onyx has a silky outercoat that somehow repels the Furminator.  It just doesn't work on her, nothing really does.  Sigh...
