    Cheech

One of BF and I's good friend's dogs, Cheech, went to the Bridge last night. Cheech was adopted from our HS and lived 12 happy years with his owner. He loved nothing more than to go to bonfires on the beach with all of our friends, and finish off warm beers. (No, he wouldn't drink lite beer ;) )

If you all could ask your special ones at the Bridge already to keep an eye out for an ol' houndy mix, I'm sure Cheech could show them the joy of a bonfire on the beach.

    We'll miss you, Cheechy boy.

Oh dear -- if Prissy met Cheech she would definitely have tried to instill in him the evils of ... beer. (her first owner was an alcoholic and that dog HATED it every time I had a beer -- she would SULK!!)

But old Mike tha Dog is there to tell Cheech not to take Pris TOO seriously, and Pip'll be wanting to go TO the beach!! LOL

Don't worry, Cheech - just go find Dancer.  She knows everything and will be able to find the best beaches and bonfires for you till your people get there.  If you can't find her, look for Sinbad - his favorite pastime was lying around on a boat - for sure he'll know where the beach is.  RIP little one.

Thanks all. I saw Andy early today and while he's pretty upset, he knows Cheech is pain free (he had arthritis in his hips) and happy at the Bridge.

Cheech, sweetie, just look for Lucy.  She knows where all the good parties are.  She'll even teach you to stick out your ribs more so people think you're being starved & give you more food.

    Run free & painlessly, Cheech!
