Can I please have some positive energy...

My DH is hoping for a new job, perfect job for him while he continues to grow his own business.  He was layed off in Jan 2007 and hasn't worked since.  Is trying to get his business off the ground but needs a part time job to help us stay a float and his recent application to Pepsi would be perfect.  Could really use some good vibes, prayers and positive energy our way.

The idoggers and their well wishes always seem to help.

Thank you Callie.  Thankfully we have benefits through my job but the salary is excellant even for part time.  Its so hard starting a business and can't keep it going if he has a full time job.  But between the two them it would work!  We are praying...

Absolutely -- they seem to treat their people well, at least here in Orlando -- but I most definitely WILL keep you lifted up!

Oh yeah!!  DH had the phone interview today and was granted a face to face interview.  Pepsi must get so many applicants that they have a company pre certify  viable applicants.  His face to face is Wednesday, fingers crossed!

That's great; I'll pray he gets the job.

Sorry everyone for the delay in responses.  My life has been very hectic!  My DIL at 31 had a stroke, she is doing well considering but we have had our granddaughter and my son and full time jobs (yes both of us full time jobsBig Smile) hospital visits, you name it.  So I haven't been online much.

The interview went really well and a job offer was extended but..  at the same time another job offer came through and he choose that job over Pepsi.  The commute is right short, right by my house and he is not driving a truck for AmVets picking up clothing.  He started last week and is happy he made the choice.  Although Pepsi sounded good as well it was only until September (maybe a solid job offer would follow) and the commute was an hour away.  We are happy he is employed and he is making a really good salary.  Thank you all for your wishes I know it was the icing on the cake!!
