Reply Contact this type of play is typical for Rhodesians too, so we are proactive and never allow them to rough house without supervision.  Since Rocky will not be brrd ( right?) you can use a squirt bottle and correct from afar everytime he grabs Bo's neck or even his rear roughly.  You may find the puppy play to be funny but when he is full grown and very powerful what will you do then??? Train now to avoid complaining later.... Reply Contact AKStickel: The big problem is that Rocky came from the shelter and was abused as a puppy and has he scars to prove it so we ahve to be very cautious when disciplining him due to his breed and his past abuse   AKStickel: When he does cros the line I am the one in his face making sure he knows he was bad. I was just making suggestions based on what you said. I am not in your house, and I have not met your dogs - I can only offer suggestions based on what you tell us here. You asked for advice- you got it. I still firmly believe he NEEDS to go to some sort of organized puppy class.
