Can an adult dog teach a puppy?

Samantha is the 3 month old GSD that I am dog sitting this weekend. She knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. Her owners want me to teach her the come command. I have been using a long lead (20 feet I think). Shailer has a good recall now and she loves him. So I noticed that she is following him everywhere he went and when I say come he comes and sits infront of me and Samantha has been doing the same thing (except for sitting). How can I continue to enforce this? I give Shailer a treat when he obeys and I give Samantha one too.

Now that she has the idea from Shailer, I would work with her on her recall by herself, or she might get the idea that she only has to come to you if Shailer does.

Take her out by herself and use the long line, encourage her to come to you and treat as normal.  If she learns that when she comes back whether Shailer or there is not she gets a treat, that will be the beginning of her learning to come back regardless of what else is happening.

I would tell her owners, though, that this is still something that will have to be worked on.  A reliable recall cannot be taught in a weekend.

Aww she is absolutely adorable. Was going to tell you what Kate already said sooo just had to write anyways and say that pup is cute. And I think there might be other idoggers here that might have to take her home with them.
