He's still a BIT constipated -- I talked to my vet and he was glad we didn't go to the e-vet (for all the reasons I had so much angst about it). -- he stressed that most vets would want you to take a while before rushing to surgery just to try and see if the body would 'pass it' on its own.

We know he went this morning early and when I got home from work he went out and had another ... but was still feeling like he needed to do more.  But seriously I don't think you poop out that kind of volume ... fast.

*grin* and Dr. Bailey's first comment was "Did you give him some pumpkin?"  (and this is the regular vet!)

Yes .... I certainly did.  (and they'll all have it this week -- I added an EXTRA can to the food I'd made last night -- pumpkin ... *plus*

Seriously -- I did call my holistic vet just to see if there was some other thing I might do and she said YES ... to go back and double up on the milk thistle.  That an episode like this is hard on the liver so milk thistle should help.  That was a new one on me ... and yep, I have done so.

He's acting really good - a bit put off on being so "scrutinized"  ... but hey .. that's what you get when you make a total piggie out of yourself!!!

Couldn't the pumpkin be making him constipated?  I thought it worked in that way too.
