Confused [8-)] We've reached a new low in my house (marlania)

    Oh lordy, I can't believe this happened...actually, I can.

Last night, I was giving Addisen her bottle, and Brown came to snoop, since he's never too far from her. Apparantly, he figured out that when he sees her with the bottle, she's actually eating something. Well, Brown never misses a meal, even when it's not *his* meal. So that booger plopped down in front of me and begged. Eventually, this attracted the rest of the dinner crew, so by the end of the feeding, Brown, Grey, Tar, and Charlie (the cat) were sitting in front of me waiting patiently. Little do they know that they have a long time to wait before this kid starts flinging food to them.Stick out tongue

Can I have my 4000-something posts back? Pretty please?

Cool   That happened to me years ago, when I had babies.  They had to wait awhile, but they got there just desserts!  LOL

That's cute. My grandkids drop food all the time and my 3dogs and their 2dogs are ALWAYS there to clean up. Look at it this way----you don't have to clean up the floor.   Wink

    Marlania...

If you BF'd...you could've squirted them in the face...they'd catch on quick and you could give them a healthy snack every time you fed the baby! They'd start begging everytime you well nevermind...*running away, laughing...and hiding!*

How sweet is that!!!! I have an old pic of our Bull Mastiff Meka sitting next to my hubbies knees (Where our son Chanse was sitting having his cereal) he was just 6 or 7 months old and so was Meka.  What a wonderful memory you brought back!!!  Meka passed away 2 years  ago and it's still hard to not be sad when I think about him but you just put a big smile on my face cause he sat with us everytime we fed the baby!! (even if he was beggin) I'm so greatful for those memories now.  I guess what I'm trying to say is ......ENJOY hee hee heee.  You'll have a great memory and get to smile about it later...

Hey man, a meal is a meal....don't knock it.  Big Smile

You have labs/mixes, right Marlania?  I am just completely not surprised...they are better than most dogs at realising what is food....or at least, edible, if it is not food.

Dipper likes to do that!  If I don't let him, he'll try his best to squeeze into the dishwasher!  I'd like to see pics of your dinner crew one day!!

When my DSs were little, Sasha would post herself between the high chairs and wait for anything to come down.  That old girl was nearly deaf and blind, but she could find Cheerios like nobody's business! Her nose worked just FINE.

This is so gross, but my cousin's dog used to sit and wait for her human baby to spit up....she was a spit up monster and I think Chela thought it was even better than cat poop.  Ick!

Surprise What part of dining with the "family" do you need clarafied?   It is never embarassing until you sit down with a nice cold beer and the dogs gather around hoping for a sip!

BTW Yes I know it isn't good for dogs... But mine prefer imported . very cold sips on a summer's day. In the winter they prefer a nice mulled wine.

The worst thing about it all is when the kids do get older the dogs get a bit chunky "helping" them finish dinner.
