    Re: Update

I noticed that the delete button is gone from my earlier post in this thread.  The delete button allowed members to delete their post and the related children.  Anyone know why?

Oh, now it is there on this post but is not on an earlier post.  Does the delete button only appear if you are the last post?

Now that I have edited this original post a few times, the delete button is now gone?  Very confusing?  Maybe there is a time window that you are given to delete your posts.

Prior to your reply, Rwbeagles, the delete button disappeared.  It may be replies and once edited, is the answer.

    Edie -

In computer code-speak, message board threads (and some other things as well) are referred to as "parents" and "children" (or "parent nodes" and child nodes").  The first post in a thread, what starts a thread, is known as a "parent" and any subsequent replies are known as "children".

??  And yet you are posting?  Click on the log out spot to log IN.  Worked for me anyway.

That is too funny.  I hate to laugh but how does that happen.  Is that a blonde moment as opposed to a senior moment?
