    Hi Everyone from CA

    Hi All,
     My name is Julie I live in Bakersfield CA, I have recently started a new chapter in my life after losing both of my Daschunds this year which I had for 12 to 14 years. I decided I can't live without dogs in my life, so here my new journey begins. I'ts been a while since I had puppy's so I have come to you all for advice and support. Thanks

    Hi, welcome to the forums! I'm sorry to hear about your little ones. How difficult to lose them both so close together! I'm sure this board will be a great reference for you both in expressing your feelings for your departed friends and in looking for a new one, if you choose to do so.

    Hi Julie,  Sorry about losing both your dogs, but welcome to the Forum.  I'm in CA too.  Davis is about 10 miles west of Sacramento and 75 miles east of San Francisco - right in the middle of the central valley.

    Hi Julie.  Sounds like your dogs lived wonderful long lives, thanks to you.  Now on to your new adventure.

     I used to be Dyanne08, but can no longer log in under that name?????? so I am now dyanne09.  Half time in Nevada and half time in No. CA.  Look forward to hearing about your "new dog" life.

    Hi Julie. Welcome. So sorry for your losses. Our GSD is going to be 11 in February. I dread the day something happens to him. Every morning he wakes up is a GREAT day! Good luck with a new pup when you decide to get one. This forum is great and everyone is SO nice.

    The more people I meet the more I love my dogs!

    Hi Julie;

    Welcome to the forum.. nice to meet you! Smile

    I too am sorry to hear about the loss of your Doxies.  I'm curious too.. are you going to stick with the wiener breed, or break tradition?  Hope you find all the info you need on the forum...

    Re: Hi Everyone from CA

    I cant imagine loosing 2  of your fur babies in one year!  Sad as that is, your new journey will be quite exciting!  Hope we can all take the journey with you!   I decided to go with a different breed myself after the loss of both my Rotties,  I still long to have a Rottie and will again someday I am sure but for now I have 2 adorable rescues.  Hot Shot is 2+ and we have had him about 6 wks, Rocky is 6 months and we have had him since he was aprox 8 weeks.  I dont know if you are interested in large or small but there are so many dogs that need loving homes I hope you will consider adoption!
