    Foster Dogs!

Well, my neighbors are fostering two dogs from the local shelter. They are such absolute cuties! And, they get on great with my dogs. I dont see why they haven't found a home by now!

The female Golden Retriever's name is Missy. She is about 3-4 years old and is an absolute gorgeous dog! She loves being outside in their fenced in yard. I dont thinks she's too trustable off leash. Her one flaw is the digging. She loves to dig. But, that could easily be trained out right? Any tips I can pass along to make her more adoptable?

The other dog is a male Black Lab/Pit Bull mix. His name is Brutus. He is 1-2 years old and was found wandering along a busy highway. He is very friendly. I've seen them in the backyard teaching him to lie down and stay and he seems to really enjoy training. He gets along great with Missy but my neighbors say he is possesive of his food. I've played fetch with him and he seems to enjoy that also. So overall, hes a good dog. Any tips for him?

I just have to post pics! Look Below.

I don't have any tips...sorry, but I just have to say THANK YOU to your wonderful neighbors!  The job they do is wonderful fostering those doggies...and I'd be a terrible foster mommy...I'd want to keep all of them!  I'm not sure how they give them up!  But again, tell them a big puppy slobbery thank you for what they do!  The Pit/Lab mix is adorable..I have 2 pits of my own and they are fantastic family pets!  Good luck!

I dare you to try and take my Pitties away! Say No to Breed Specific Legislation!

Ok, its been a while since we have talked about them but my neighbors are still fostering the same two dogs Missy and Brutus. Well since Brutus is getting a new start on life after being dumped by a highway they have decided to re-name him Bo. So, he now goes by Bo. He is getting a lot more playful and has come out of his shell. He is also building some muscles in that sleek black coat of his. My neighbors are avid hunters so they are beggining to take him with them out to hunt. He's done great so far. He's alot more obidient but is starting to not get along so well with other dogs. Him and Missy have had a couple disagreements and he really hates my dogs now, even though they didnt do anything to him. He is still a GREAT dog with people so I'm thinking a one dog family for him.

Missy is just doing about the same. Still having a little trouble on resolving that digging issue.

Just wanted to give an update! Thanks.

Digging is an easy fix. Don't let the dog get bored in the yardBig Smile

My neighbors are confusing people. They decided they loved the name Bo but didnt like the spelling so they changed it to Beau. Does it really matter? LOL. not like the dog knows how to spell.

    Mechanical Angel:

    Brutus.

Whatever Brutus/Bo is he looks just like my Teddi in this first picture, except Teddi is white/yellow. We were told he was a lab/golden mix but there's no golden in him whatsoever. He also loves people, doesn't care much for dogs.
