LOL, Jackie, I may be naive sometimes, but I'm pretty sure I've got that one figured out Wink

Slumber Parties is the company name, its like a Pampered Chef party, but the things you buy would be for a different kind of 'cooking'

Now, who's naive or at least uninformed?  That would be me!  LOL  Wow, Amanda will probably have a franchise soon.......

Can I come?  I LOVE their battery operated 'cooking' utensils.

Jackie, don't feel bad -- I hadn't a clue either.  I was a little curious as to why someone's Mom would be having a slumber party, but, to each their own!  LOL.

Thank goodness, because I was worried about Stephanie going to a slumber party with her step mom and being dressed in the wrong jammies. LOL

Tina, if those idiots fire you, pack up Agnes and the cats and come to Texas.

I'll definitely keep this in mind.  You wouldn't be too disappointed if the cats got "lost" on the way, would you?  LOL

Hot cayenne pepper in your eye really stings, just so you know.  And non-waterpoof mascara plus cayenne pepper in your eye does not make you very attractive, another FYI....  Thought I should share those pearls of wisdom...

Whew, I'm glad that we got things cleared up because I was really starting to wonder what the heck was going on. I have been to one of those special cooking parties before. It was called a Nice & Naughty Party and it was a ton of fun. Get a bunch of women together drinking and talking about sex and it's amazing how different everyone is. Big Smile

Hehehe.  It is amazing how different people are at those parties.  I went to one with a friend when we were in high school - I think we were 16-17 the person who was hosting it was a coworker and like 40 - it was very strange at first, but turned out fun.  My friend is supposed to have one at her new house in the next few months - that should be interesting.  She's not the most adventerous or knowledgeable in the "cooking" department.  Said friend believes pulling out is a reliable form of birth control  Indifferent

    "Channel your inner amanda..."

Lol too funny! This should be the new saying to represent all women who ever wanted to make a man cry.

Amanda did you get a pic of naked wife beater man?

I got to play cards with the good ole boy club at work today. Actually calling them good ole boys is not accurate since they are all good guys and generally don't have that ole boy attitude. However, when it comes to cards at lunch time, its all men. To my knowledge no woman has ever played cards with the guys at lunch. Until today! I feel like obama or something. Silly but if any of you work in a male dominated field then you know what I mean!

Julie, I have single guy friends that I can hook you up with.  No need to go after naked wife beater guy! Wink

To answer your question....yes, I got a pic.  I texted it to DH telling him that I had finally met the man of my dreams & that I would be leaving him immediately.  It's probably good that DH understands that I have a deranged sense of humor.  He told me that I needed professional help, & asked if I was planning on cooking dinner before I left.

    Re: Hump Day Musings

I am directing a race on Saturday. Last year, we had 113 total registered, and 100 who actually showed and ran. Right now, we have 92 people registered. We are only allowed 150 on the course. Given that last year, with impending rain, we doubled on race day, I expect we will sell out. I am totally shocked. There is another event in the same park (which we may have to send people over to if ours is sold out). There is also a big race, which we actually changed days to avoid last year, about 9 miles away. That race gets over 400 people, and is in a nicer location than the one I am doing. There's another one in that area also. I was also just contacted by the mascot coordinator for the Philadelphia Wings. The mascot is going to come out to the event. Hopefully he comes with some prizes or something. I don't know how the heck we did that well with all those other events we're up against. I actually didn't have the heavy advertising push through our timer that I could have had. I'm glad I didn't now actually, because we may have had way too many people in that case.

Sure thing Amanda :o)  Of course that means flying up to MD and hanging out in the middle of no where, but you're more than welcome!

LOL, sorry I had everyone else confused.  Although the thought of me showing up in those kind of jammies has me giggling :o)
