Happy Halloween from Willa and Rupert

I know it's a little late but here are a few pics.

Our pumpkin. I had to keep it simple because Willa "helped." She loved squishing the guts.

I bought her a costume at a garage sale last spring. It's 18-24, but it's already too small lengthwise.

So we went to Goodwill and she found an Elmo costume for only $4. She loved it.

She did great trick-or-treating. The first house, she took the candy out of the pumpkin and stared at the lady. LOL. I put it back in her pumpkin and went on to the next house. She did the same thing again, then asked me to open it. I don't blame her! Who gives a toddler food/candy and then tells them they can't have it yet? After a few houses she got the hang of it. After we were done, we went over to my grandma's house. We went up to the door and my mom gave Willa some candy. We went in and I started taking off my coat. Willa went back to the door and wanted to leave and go to more houses. LOL!

And poor Rupert, who was thoroughly unimpressed with his costume.

She's so cute in her costume, & obviously she's a smart girl.  Who chooses grandma's over more candy???

LMAO, poor Rupert, I'm ashamed for you.

Willa is too cute.  The first time Kale went trick or treating, he kicked off his boots at the first person's house and pushed past the lady to go sit by the old man on the couch...He thought we were staying.

Willa looked adorable in her costume but all I can see are those beautiful blue eyes. I love the children her age the most on Halloween. They're still so innocent and in awe of the whole trick or treat thing.

    Oh Rupert, you are beautiful!

     Thanks everyone!

Rupert is such a silly boy. Whenever we put something on his head, he just freezes. Then we say, "OK!!" and he goes into full-body wiggle mode. Treats, kisses, g'boy squeals, etc.

Willa looks too cute in her Elmo costume!  Rupert, you are such a good boy to endure the fright wig.  My sister took her almost 3yr old granddaughter trick or treating.  They told her that you can only go to houses with the lights on.  She was not impressed with this and dashed up to the first house with no lights on and said "TURN ON YOUR LIGHT, I"M HERE!"  Hand had to be held tightly after that. lol

Lol, the kids I was w/ were not impressed w/ that either.  One little girl kept pointing out houses whose inside lights were on, saying "their lights are on" or the little doorbells that have a light in them "they have a little light on"  I tried explaining that they wouldn't have candy but it wasn't sinking in :o)
