Dawn, these come from a local tamale factory. lol  They are so popular that people are already placing their orders for Christmas.  My guy said there was a line out the door this morning.  People buying two and three ice chests full for the weekend!  This place has been in business for many years and is not far from me but until this guy brought some I had never tried any.   I doubt they will give out their recipe but I'll ask!

I helped my step mom's family make tamales one year.  I was a bit taken aback when I saw the whole cow head cooking in a giant pot out in the yard.  Once I got past that, it was a lot of fun.  lol   But not as good as Reuben's Tamales.

Hands down, it's Mac n cheese, even if it's just the blue box but these others are certainly contenders:

Peppridge Farm Milano cookies, mint or dark chocolate

    Whataburger fries and Whataburger ketchup

Fuzzy's Taco Shop chips and queso

Blue Bell Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream

Those gummy orange slices candy.  Inherited that one from grandma.

I have tried them before....not good...   must have something besides the recipe on the Masa bag, lol!

You mentioned freezing them...  we have a friend I just recently found out that his family does a whole day every few months and make "great" tamales.  He always freezes several dozen back since it is so long between "Tamale Day".

Hubby and I love good tamales and this is our winter project to learn how to make a very good tamale!

I have heard some people use beef, some use chicken, some use pork.... I think they all sound really yummy right now!  Is it lunch time yet???:)

Cheese, especially fresh mozzarella or queso fresco (Mexican cheese), cheesy crackers like cheese nips, Italian nachos at Carinos (which is fortunately too far away to cruise into very often), grilled shrimp tacos from Taco Bell (that's probably a pretty healthy choice), chocolate and the oatmeal cookies from Costco.
