I might be a bit biased but I think he's pretty cute too New toys ARE fun.  I really bought the lens for an event I'm shooting Thursday.  It's "faster" than my other lenses (more sensitive to light) and I LOVE it so far.  Bunches of pics in the past couple days. Animals, it is their world too!

(5 pics) Reply Contact kpwlee: what lens did you get?   The Canon "Thrifty Fifty" retails for about $120......love it! 50mm  f/1.8 http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/12142-USA/Canon_2514A002_Normal_EF_50mm_f_1_8.htm It's got a very shallow depth of field.  The 2 pics above where his eye is in focus and then his nose....I was about 2 feet away at most lens at f/2.5.    I love how everything else faded into blur.  The first shot I was about 5 feet away lens at f/2.0.  No flash, ISO 1600, shutter 1/85, living room on a cloudy afternoon.     Animals, it is their world too!
