Further improvements today. Kivi saw another dog on the other side of the road, which usually puts him at his most frustrated. To make it even worse, the other dog was interested in him and had its ears pricked and was staring at him. Kivi stopped.... I said "Kivi, sit" and Kivi sat. I said "Kivi, hang about" and Kivi got up and fell in beside me. Somewhat amazed but pretty chuffed! I walked off and Kivi looked back once or twice, but the leash stayed loose. We have been practising hang about over the last few days and it's really speeding things up and helping the release anticipation, which were the two things I wanted to improve on.
