SAM-E & Milk Thistle
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
How much SAM-E and Milk Thistle do I give my dog? He is a boxer/lab and 14 yrs. old. Recently took him to the Vet. His ALT and Alkaline Phosphate were very elevated. Rather than Demerex I wanted to try the SAM-E and Milk Thistle.

Nice weekend, a little cool on Saturday, but really nice on Sunday. Mowed the lawn, got basil and catnip planted. I'm still looking for a pear tomato plant. That's the extent of my gardening. BBQ'd chicken yesterday - it was delish! Nice to see RonnieO is home! Went out with the guys...

Making progress
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I recently added a new member to my little pack. My rottie had some issues with Zelda, but the daily walks and working them together is really paying off, they sleep together on the couch now and tend to stick close when just chillin' around the house.

Potty Training?
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I have a question, I have been researching the best way to potty train a puppy and I am finding two different sides and one was wondering what your thoughts were. I have read that with crate training, they stay in for a hour and then out potty and then play time for 15-20 mins (depending on the age)...

Homemade Dog Food
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I know I have read some threads about homemade dog food, wondering do any of you make your own? What is a good source for the needed ingredients to make cooked homemade dog food? The reason I am considering this is because I always run into problems with dry dog food, I buy good quality food and it always...

Not sure what to do with my dominant aggressive dog.
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
My year old red heeler mix tried to attack me tonight when I attempted to remove something from him. I've seen signs of dominant aggression, which was my vet's diagnosis, in him for a while, often unprovoked, but this was by far the worst. My mom saw and got scared. We had already talked about...
