I hate to ask for myself, but I just found out some disturbing test results, and I could really use some of the good juju this place generates. I had an abdominal CT done last week to rule out kidney stones, and they discovered an incidental finding of a 1.5 to 2.3 cm cyst on my right kidney. Now normally...

Asthma Help Please...
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Does anyone know of anything that will help with an asthma attack besides ventolin(blue puffer). My son's puffer ran out tonight, but I wasn't worried cause I had another in the cupboard. As it turns out that one is empty too. Since its allergy season, Kale's asthma is out of control. We've...

Leash Aggression
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Leash aggression, or "reactivity" refers to dogs who are fine with other dogs, but become barking, lunging lunatics on leash. They do it out of frustration or fear usually. This is not the same as the dog who would attack another dog if he could just get to him. These dogs are more likely to...

I know that Natura also makes Healthwise line of pet food. I have never heard much about this line of food in this forum. It does not appear that many people buy the products (I could be wrong). Can anyone, who has used the products give some comments? I am curious about it.

Yesterday was baffie time for the boys. Grady seems to be feeling better after the bath. He hates the water being sprayed on him. It was a big day for me with Aspen. He's getting better about me brushing him. Okay so I can only brush his front half. We still have issues with his rear...

First, I'd like to know if a "leave it" command and a "drop it" command should be two seperate things. I want to be able to tell the dog to stop focusing on something, like going towards an animal in the woods, trying to pick up roadkill, etc. But I also need a command for when...

Scooter (shih tzu) is a digger - digs out or tries to all the time - it seems that yesterday's attempt has caused him injury to foot - no cluts, bleeding, doesn't seem to be broken; but he does whimper & cry if you do anything to it - he walks on it, even jumps up & down from the bed...

INVISIBLE FENCING

I was interested in purchasing the invisible fence which, as most of you may know, consists of a wire that is placed underground (only superficially after digging a trench) and connected to a power point and dogs are made to wear a collar in which upon approaching this wire an alarm rings and if they...

Hello everyone. My neighborhood has a ton of dogs. All of which bark at each other all the time. I was wondering if there is a way to train my upcoming pup not to bark at the other dogs?
