Mindless Chatter Friday

I am having an AMAZING day.  I just got some tickets to an event I was desperate to go to.  They went on sale at 10 am and were sold out by 10:30.  I'm one of the lucky ones.  Wahoooooo! I am so chuffed.

 TGIF!!  bleh its raining again and tomorrow too.  I know the earth still needs it but enough already I feel like I'm living in Manchester, UK again

DH & I have a new Friday night tradition of going to a fun oyster bar on Friday's - never used to like them but love them now so looking forward to that.

Determined to teach Bugsy 'stand' today 

I thought this week would never end. TGIF!!!!

Ok I picked up a raffle basket I won a few weeks ago. COOL STUFF!!! It has tug toys (2), a fleece braided leash, tennis ball, a squeaky toy (that will last 3 seconds) dog food samples (I use for agility treats), and a fleece throw blanket with GOLDEN RETRIEVERS on it. How appropriate is that!!! It is really a nice throw too.

Tonight I ride, tomorrow AM I am taking Teddi to class, then tomorrow it is supposed to be decent weather. If it is I am going to clean out the inside of our cars. They are so bad. I need to get my house work done too. I hope to be very productive this weekend AND take care of my dogs needs too. We will see how the productivity goes.
 

Guess I shouldn't rub in the fact that cleaning for me involves dragging the shop vac in and trying to suck up mounds of dog fur!  That's about it.  I do periodically need to take clorox wipes and wipe down the floor of the shower stall since that's where the cat box is, but, other than that.........living in an RV certainly simplifies cleaning!

Now, doing dishes is a challenge.....no running water yet since we still can't put water in our fresh water tank, but, we get water from the main building, heat it up on the stove and then use dishpans that we THEN dump into a 5 gallon bucket and discard that.  So dishes typically only get done once a day.......nothing wrong with that!

I got an email this morning that Ana is FINALLY coming home.  The embassy appointment for the Visa is made for Wed at 8AM.  My niece and her family are leaving Sunday for Guatamala, and returning a week plus later on Tuesday.  So soon my new little great niece will be in the country and home where she belongs!  Perhaps someone can post some pictures for me as I get them.   Getting that email was sure a nice way to start the morning......

I did NOT want to crawl out of bed this morning.  Was soooo comfy snuggled up with two dogs.  And so toasty warm!

DH can't share a twin bed for some reason......he can share his with two german shepherds, but I don't move and get down on the floor when he nudges me.....Since the dogs have the bedroom for crates, we are relagated to the couch and the table that fold down into single beds.  But, that's ok I guess...the dogs don't toss and turn as much as he does!  It will be nice, however, to have a house again and get my king size waterbed back up and running!  I can sleep anywhere.....DH, not so much.

Off to start the feeding/walking frenzy!

I thought this week would never end. TGIF!!!!

I hear you Ann!  It supposed to be semi warm (around 50) today but rainy....sigh.  I just wish summer would get here.  I am supposed to hear back from my recruiter today about that other job, so we will see what happens.

We don't have any plans for tonight so I think I will get some laundry done and do some cleaning.  Tomorrow morning I am taking Charlie to the indoor dog park and they are off to Sam's Club to get some party stuff since we are having people over on Sunday for brunch.

Thank goodness this week is almost over!!! 

We are going to Vegas for the weekend, & I'm just hoping that I remember to pack everything we need.  I've called BF three times, so far, to remind him to put something else in the suitcase...

The dogs are out in the rain and Charles looks like a wet mop.

I am jealous of ALL of you!  I wish I were happy it is Friday but I have to work all weekend...and all next weekend.  The days are all running together for me.  I don't know if I will even get to leave early enough to have dinner with my husband tonight for the first time this week but I sure am going ot try!  I have already working over 50 hours this week and have three full days left.  I am so tired of taxes right now!!!!  I will be so glad when April 16th is here and I am on my way out of town!

I made myself a cup of coffee and it was the worst cup of coffee that I've ever tasted. *puke* seriously!

I don't know what is the matter with me lately but I keep blanking out. For some reason I have no memory anymore. Of course this happens to everyone but this is happening to me several times per day lately. Enough to have me concerned anyway. Like I'll walk from the living room to the kitchen and completely forget why I went to the kitchen. Or I'll go out to my car and totally forget why I went there. Is this normal? Plus the headaches.....good thing I have a doc appt soon.

Julie the memory loss stuff sounds like exhaustion.  With all the lack of and disruption of sleep from Dakota & Lily I think sleep deprivation is the likely culprit. 

 Fridays are my Thursdays, so i still have another workday left this week.  At least tomorrow teaching should go easy since it's graduation for my two training classes. :) 

 This weather is driving me nuts - every other day is in the 60s/70s, but the days in between are in the 40s/low 50s!  Crazy!  At least we aren't getting storms, just rain, so I don't have to worry about Maggie freaking out.

Julie - memory issues can be tied to stress.  My fiance has a crappy memory during the school year, especially this one, but during the summer it's amazing how much more he retains.  Hopefully you get everything figured out at the doctors visit, but if you're really stressed both the headaches and memory issue could just be stress related instead of something scary.

Last night was a lot of fun.  My sister and I went out for dinner, then came back to my place and made Bailey's milkshakes.  It was so much fun, just relaxing and hanging out.  

Today, DH is making my sister and I brunch (he's such a sweetie!).  We're going to have scrambled eggs with cheese, cinnamon rolls, and bacon!  

OOOOO

I could go for a Kaluha milkshake.
