Suggestions please...

Anyone got any ideas for kids birthday invitations? I was thinking of buying or downloading something that meant I could just do them on the computer, because I don't feel inclined to make them by hand this time. Does anyone have any recommendations/suggestions?

Yes he is nearly 1. How time flies eh?

I can't believe he's already one! I don't have any kids myself but my uncle recently had a baby and they used this site for the invitations to the shower. There were really cute. I can't seem to find the exact one they used but I know you can personalize everything and match the invites with the thank-you's later, etc.

He is just tooooo darn cute !! What theme? Disney has an awesome collection, I don't have the url handy, plus there is a place called Partystore I think , everything from napkins and invites to pinatas and treasures.. You will take a million photos right??

Don't you have a Mac? I think you did but my brain gets fuzzy sometimes. Anyway, iPhoto has templates for invitations, if you have it.

It's going to be a pool party follwed by a picnic. It was going to be a Teddy Bears Picnic (you know, like the song) but I thought some precious bears might get wet and ruined so maybe next year! The cake is going to be In The Night Garden. Either in the shape of Iggle Piggle or just a sinple round cake with ITNG characters on top sculpted out of icing.

I had a look at delivery times and it looks like I left it a bit late! So I did it in a rush. Now I have 10 flier type cards with a cute photo on and all the party details.... and the wrong time. So I have ordered another batch! This is the photo I used:

Chuffy - I can't believe I didn't see this until now. How exciting, we are going through the same thing right now. I was going to suggest Shutterfly.com, but I didn't know if you could use them over there. They do it all and will even mail them for you if you want! That's what we are going to do I think.
