When I was in highschool,we found a little terrier stray that we took in.We had named him Ozzy(lol)and had him for a year.I came home from a concert one night,and was with a few friends at my house.I put on an old Black Sabbath album,and when the song"The Wizard"came on,Ozzy(the dog)howled in tune with the harmonica .My friends were amazed,and a little jealous over him..lol

I was worried it was hurting his ears,and didn't play it loud like that again when he was around..Wish I had gotten it on tape..

She also howls at fire truck sirens, and when she howls at my alarm clock in the morning, I howl along with her. It's beautiful.

What are those 3 kinds of howls according to the wolf guy on NGC? I wonder how these might fit in there.

The dog in the video sounds more like they're crying than enjoying it. lol.
Ixa has a very sweet sounding howl. I'd love to be able to have her to wake me up instead of that stupid alarm clock.
Last year, I was learning a new position on my violin and Carley started howling really softly like she was trying to show me the note I was trying to get. The funny thing was was that she was closer to the note than I was. [sm=rolleyes.gif] It was the cutest sound I've ever heard her make, but I haven't heard it since.
