just for a change its overcast, ridiculously humid and storms are expected............every day in the 10 day forecast too. The weather person said something like, " I keep hoping that Mother Nature is going to turn the garden hose off but it doesn't look like it for the near future"
I just remind myself to be thankful that by and large this area seems to be able to cope with the water. We've had flash flood warnings for over a month and anytime it rains there is flooding but mostly small scale stuff.
I am going to call the doctor today - feel worse and now I'm wondering if the sore throat that popped up Sunday night is from the tick bite which is HUGE and blistery. Feeling feverish too.
Of course this didn't stop me from taking B to the lake for his rehab swim. He is so funny, after last week's cormorant chase he was out in the lake swimming to each No Wake Zone marker and checking if a bird was on it. The combo of him getting stronger and more confident plus the new Ruffwear PFD have turned him into a monster. He swam 30 minutes - most of it in the middle of the lake - before heading to the shoreline. Then he had a drink and begged for me to toss his toy out again. He swam another 15 before heading in. He was willing to head to the car afterward but he wasn't nearly as gassed as he has been
Alright, happy to be home today and able to make some calls, do some admin work and sort some personal stuff out. I feel a nap coming on too
Yo Deb, how are you and what is the drink of the day!!!
eta: re the weeds. Try adding inches of water every day and lots of heat and watch them grow. Literally the weeds and grass grow before your eyes LOL
