Ahh the smell of caffeine (Callie *grin*)

TRUE STORY - I was talking to a lady Saturday who works at Starbucks.  I made the joking/half-serious comment when she opened her drive-thru window and I got hit with that blast of coffee-caffeine smell.  I said "You know -- if I worked here I would just plain NEVER EVER sleep.  Just what I inhaled would be enough to keep me awake!"  She looked at me and lowered her voice and said "You honestly don't know how **serious** that truly is -- I work here but I do NOT drink coffee.  Not at all.  However, just from what is in the air, and the dust that settles on my skin -- when I have a 2 day 'weekend' I literally develop a massive toxic headache the second day from the caffeine withdrawal.  And I don't even drink it at all -- not here and not at home."   It really drove home to me how much we take for granted.  We think if we don't eat it then it can't affect us.  That's just not the case.

I've always kidded David that he consumes all the caffeine in the house -- but dang I never thot about it going in the skin!!

Goodness, I think if I were her, I'd start having some caffeine on her days off!
