people in less fortunate situations than ours just take the plunge and say what the heck - why can't we :)

Isn't that the truth?  The people who should take more time to analyze the decision usually don't, while those who are ideally suited for a baby (like you guys) fret over it.  But that's what makes you guys good, responsible parents.  I've got a couple friends who had kids at 40 -- their pregnancies were fine -- like you, they were in good health and good shape, which really helps.  Good luck, and I know you'll keep us posted.

Maureen, that's nice you can still provide some advice and assistance to that client.  I'm sure it comforts her to know she has someone she can trust to talk to about these things.

Jen, have a safe journey, and enjoy Williamsburg.  I've never been but would love to go someday.

All my bosses are out of town, so my former coworker is coming to the office to pick up a huge potted plant she couldn't take the day she was let go.  She's been waiting for a time when they were gone AND the weather was reasonably warm.  It's buy-one-get-one-free sundae day at Baskin Robbins, so we're going over there for a snack while she's here.  Actually, it'll be my lunch (not wise, I know).

I am excited for another baby Lisa!!!!

Jen 95 is very weird just south of DC as you merge from the beltline of DC back on to it. I swear its been under construction for over 20 years LOL

Otherwise at that time your journey should be easy!

I always giggle about Williamsburg now - I love the place and when DH first visited me in VA I took him there. Told him it was really old - keep in mind he's English. Well he grew up in a house older than any there hahahahaha Don't get me wrong he loved it and I still love it, its just that to someone from England or Europe 17th & 18th century is fairly new. Sort of like how in the South they term the Civil War "the recent unpleasantness"

Lisa-  You are a fantastic mom and if another child is blessed to have you and your husband as his or her parents, then what a lucky little life that is!

I came on to share this link because I was just sort of amazed to see it.  The effects of the tornado on Moore, OK - it's a side-by-side interactive aerial view of the land before and after the tornado:  http://tmappsevents.esri.com/website/swipe_moore/

Yay for baby making! Good luck Lisa!

This keyboard I'm using is driving me nuts. I probably need to find a new one

Good luck, Lisa!  I wouldn't worry too much about the age issue.  My DIL was 42 when my granddaughter was born and everything was fine ... and that was her first one.

Our power went out again today, about 20 min. after I put dinner in the oven.  So I took it out, shoved it in the fridge and we went to Black Bear. It came back on a little after 7:00 p.m. I probably caused it by actually starting dinner. Tongue Tied

Cathy, I didn't hear rain last night, but it probably did.  Someone told me it rained in Dixon and that's just 8 mi. west of us. By the time I got outside, any puddles had already dried up.
