    Wednesday? Really? OK let's chat

Wow I feel confused with the holiday Monday and the adventure yesterday

After waking at 4 yesterday 5:30 was a treat :)

Busy day, so much to catch up on

dog.com sent out my order of some canned food for B and 7/12 cans are heavily damaged and the tray was unsealed. Not happy

Hoping everyone has a wonderful day

Sunny and warm here - we haven't hit 90* yet. We often will hit 90* in March, I am not complaining!

Looks like I slept thru some pretty horrendous storms last night. Must have been ok though as my house is still standing! I would like to bike to work but the radar is iffy. Plus we have a ppossible search today. Decisions decisions.

. I have a retirement party to go to today too. I'm bummed this guy is retiring. He is such a nice guy and was always very supportive of me. I will miss him. I'm happyfor him too tthough. He and his wife are buying a small apartment in Boulder so they can be by their kids/grandkids whenever they want. Sounds like the good life to me :)

I slept through the storms too Julie - however, I don't think they were as bad by me.

Shhh, I have a secret and I dying to tell someone so I will tell all of you ;-) No facebook posts please.

DH and I think we are going to give it one last college try and try to have another baby. We decided not to say anything to our families to avoid the whole "how's it going" discussion. For a long time we only wanted one, but now that things have stabilized with Riley we are rethinking it would be nice to give her a brother/sister. Plus we both come from families with multiple kids and it is nice to have family around/lean on when you get older. If it doesn't happen we are OK with it and will just go to Cancun ;-) But it would be cool. We financially can do it and definitely have enough love to go around.

Our major concern is me frankly. I turn 40 tomorrow and although my getting pregnant/pregnancy/birth/nursing with Riley was 100% easy, effortless, and had absolutely zero complications, you never know - that was almost 7 years ago. The doc gave us the thumbs up - so let the rollercoaster of counting days, etc. start. I think we are going to give it until the end of the year at most. So we will see.

It will be hard to give up some of the freedoms we have now, especially since Riley is just coming of age where we can take her on vacations we couldn't before. DH is especially impacted since Riley will start full day school next year and now he will be doing the baby thing all day at home again. In some respects it will be easier since we are home instead of in WI and my family will swarm like bees to help. But I also won't be able to come home for lunch everyday like I did - but I can work from home more now. So many things to consider we were driving ourselves crazy the past few weeks. So we finally said let's try it. We were laughing last night about how people in less fortunate situations than ours just take the plunge and say what the heck - why can't we :)

Good luck on the baby making, Lisa!   Have fun!  :)

I am still half asleep. Slept great but can't wake up despite multiple cups of coffee.  I'd love to join Jamison and nap the day away. :)

Rex and Belle were toad hunting this morning when I let them out.  I had to drag them back inside to save the mama toad.

Tina, I hope your allergies are not so bad today.

    Good luck Lisa!

Glad to hear Bugsy's appointment went well yesterday.

Yesterday after work, my cell rings the unknown caller ring. I didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer. Person left a voice mail in a really gruff voice that said: "Yeah, this is George Graham. I need to talk to you. Call back." I didn't call back. Don't know any George Graham so I don't think I need to talk to you.

DS is leaving today for 4 days. Party at my house! Party!!!

ETA: thanks Jackie, they are. Rain settled a lot of the pollen.

    Good luck Lisa!!

I guess it rained really hard last night, although I didn't hear a thing. DH is bummed about another day of no bike riding. It's supposed to be in the high 90s this weekend, so I think we should enjoy it.

Looks like some nasty weather from Texas all the way up north. I hope there's no major damage or injuries.

Few comments on yesterdays posts, since I didn't check it until today.

Karen, I'm so happy to hear that Bugsy's appointment yesterday went so well.

    Love that Plumb Dummers Tracey.

Happy to hear that you are doing better today Tina. I guess it must be all over that people are having such a terrible time with allergies this year..

Congrats on getting the house Cathy and what a good deal for you about the house inspection.

I just got a call from a woman whose taxes I do. She was wondering about a pension she would be getting, on whether she should have the taxes withheld or not. She told me she'd lost her husband and that's why all of this paperwork she was having to do. I've done their taxes for several years, first as a volunteer through AARP and then I left that program and continued to do a few, still as a volunteer effort, of those people I'd done for so long and who wanted me to continue to do theirs. I felt really bad, as I hadn't heard about her husband. He was 85 and so had a good long life but it is still tough on those left behind. She must have really been expecting it though as she had asked me, at the time I did her taxes, how things would work if her husband passed away. He was still home and of sound mind but he must have been failing physically. Anyway, I'm going over to her place some time today, to have a look at things and help her out.

    Wheee, Lisa!! Good luck!

I'm a busy bee today! Also a bit panicky as it's Willa's last day of school. Sonja will still be going to daycare two days a week through the summer so I will still be able to get some work done. I'm hoping my mom or MIL will be able to have some "fun days" with Willa if I'm really busy.

6:30 PM and I've got two days off of work. I just realized something crappy though. I'm working in Philadelphia tonight, and heading south to Williamsburg. I have to come home 45 minutes if there is no traffic going north on 95, to turn around and go back onto 95 South. No other way about it though. It'd be longer to have my friend meet me in the city because she works in Princeton till 6. Hopefully we can be on the road by 7:30 if I get back quickly and can maybe start a few minutes early. My friend is driving for the first bit of the trip, which I am incredibly nervous about, as she isn't as good a driver as I am, and I drive all road trips. She'll do the part in PA, and I'll take the later part since I had time to veg at home today, and will hopefully be less tired. Of course, my plans to go back to sleep didn't go so well.
