NDR & DR... Rupey & his girls, hair cuts and more (janobonano)

I can't remember the last time I posted pics. I really wish the search function on this website was functional. Confused

    Silly Rupert likes romaine.

    Ah nomz teh crunchy salad.

    I can has more?

    My lovely little lady, Sonja.

Willa Bean and her fruit skewer.

Willa practicing her handstands. She's been in gymnastics at the Y for over a year and is getting really good! Photo bomb by Sonja.

If only they behaved this well ALL the time!

    Happy Spring!

Selfie by Willa while poor Rupert tries to take his eighth nap of the day.

    Sonja before…

Sonja after. She wasn't too thrilled about getting her hair cut. Not that she cares how it looks, but the process was uncomfortable for her. It looks a little goofy because I had given her a bath that morning, then while her hair was still wet she put on a hat and went outside.

    Willa before…

Willa after. I had wanted it to be just below her shoulders, but she wanted it "Just like Sonja!" so I let her. Sonja is always trying to keep up with her big sister, so it was actually a big confidence boost for Sonja to hear her sister say that. After we walked out, Sonja said, "Lilla! Now you have short hair just like me!" It was sooooo cute.

My bestest fuzzy friend on a jog with me. He didn't like wearing the pack. And yes, that is a flexi. So shoot me. lol. We were running somewhere new and I knew he'd want to smell a zillion different things. Plus the little bag attached holds the poop bags. There were no other dogs or people around.

Wow, a photo bonanza!  Hey Rupert, you need to make sure your HuMom shares more of all the adventures in your family.

Silly boy eating lettuce, most of mine enjoy fruits and veggies, but not lettuce.  He is just so calm with all of you it is great to see him with his humans!

The girls are growing fast, aren't they?  I can't believe Willa cut her hair.  I was in my 30's before I cut mine long hair.  That is sweet that she wanted it like her sister's, yup, great boost for Sonja.

    Thanks for sharing!

Yes Yay!  Photos of all Janice's kids!!  Holy cow, it has been a long time since you've posted any, based on how grown up Willa is looking since the last I remember seeing her.  Yikes!  She's losing the "little girl" look and turning into a lovely young lady!

And how courageous to cut that many inches off her hair.  They both look adorable with those bob cuts.  I'm sure it's easy to care for --- fewer tangles to brush out, right?  The cut suits both of them very well (but then again, their faces are so cute, they'd look good in any cut!).

Rupert, Ruby says she loves lettuce, too.  In fact, DH is making meatballs right now, so she was waiting for him to give her something off the cutting board.  He gave her some parsley and she gobbled it right up.  Now she has nice fresh breath!

We'd like to try a pack with Ruby.  I'm not sure she'd like it, but it would be nice to have her carry some of her own things instead of my pockets being overloaded.  And, the extra weight might make her work a bit harder, therefore tiring her more and maybe helping to reduce her insane energy on walks.  What kind of pack is it, Janice?  Would you recommend it?

Thanks for posting all the great pics.  You've got the most adorable kids (2 and 4 legged)!

    Thanks!

Tracy, it's a Kelty Chuckwagon pack, which I think has been discontinued since we got it years ago. It is made nicely, but it has to be balanced very well or snugged up very tightly to stay in place. It's always hanging to one side or the other. We don't use it very often. I used it to hold a cell phone, keys, and camera on one side, and a small water bottle on the other. The water bottle side was always hanging down though.

Rupey and his girls are looking so good!  Love the haircuts and so much easier on you and the girls. I hated washing and combing out my nieces long, fine hair when they were little and stayed over.  Lots of crying and that was just me. lol  Every time I see the girls I'm amazed at how fast they're growing up.
