    Waiting for her boy

Sadie doesn't usually bark at people walking by when she's at the door, but today she barked at this kid coming off the bus for the 2nd time. Both days my son wasn't on the bus because he had track. So today, after seeing the bus come and barking at the boy, she ran up to the hall of my sons' rooms and cried by their doors! So cute. she figured out what the bus means and she missed "her" boys!

Awww, poor girl, she so looks forward to their return home on the bus!

Does she get to go in the car to collect him, on track days?

How cute!  They do learn quickly.

Gabby rushes in the house when we get home from work and starts looking for my DH.  If he's outside in the back, she cries at the door to be let out to greet him.  She loves her dad like Sadie loves her boys.

They're SO good on tieing together triggers -- *tell her* "Nope it's track day - they'll be late!" -- she'll get it sorted out. Do YOU do anything different those days? Fix dinner later? tie them together for her -- they are SO smart

She has come to pick him up a few times.

No. I think she was expecting him, and when she saw other kids and not my son, she was thinking, "Where IS he?"

Oh, and track is over now. LOL.

What a sweetie! On Monday DH came home from work early and Rupert thought FOR SURE that he was going to get dinner, even though it was like 2 in the afternoon. lol!
