Same here. My yard is full if birds this morning. I love it I need to pick up more bird food on my way home tonight

Hopefully today will go by at warp speed. I really don't want to be at work.

I tried to go clothes shopping last night but everything new that is out is short sleeve and cropped. It is hard to think of wearing short sleeves an d such when it is barely 50 but I don't want to buy sweaters either!

I can't wait for the weekend, and I actually have a weekend this week. I'm done at 5, and I'm off for the weekend to take Luke to a flyball tournament. I have 3 more kids to see today. One should hopefully be quick. I've got a few questions to ask him. The other two are a bit longer. The kid I saw everyday is being sent out to a private school. It'll be better for her, but she was so upset yesterday when they told her she was going. Well, hopefully it's better, and they send her back in a year or two.

I could drink a few of those too!

Sunny and beautiful here today.  :)

I'm hoping we can make it to the botanical gardens tomorrow.  It should be beautiful and perfect weather.

We have baby tomatoes.  Big Smile

Still damp and nasty but heading to sunny and mid 60's tomorrow and then nearly 80* for a few days. Many things are starting to bloom and sprout so after the torrential 24 hrs of rain I bet it all comes to life with the warmth and sunshine :)

We wound up losing the no-zoomie battle last night after all LOL  I really wish he wouldn't but at this point I am very clear that he just has to do something to release energy. I gave him what was a fairly tough toy with many squeakers and a honker thinking it would keep him busy which I suppose it did but not for very long. His frustration was palpable as he shredded that toy. This morning we walked 1/2 mile!!! He seemed better than the other day and is resting now. He hasn't had any tramadol for over 36 hrs now, still on heavy rimadyl though.

Not much else going on just the usual tasks

    Deb that drink sounds nice!!

Great news!  I know he's still got some healing and recovery time but I'm so glad he's making progress every day.  Enjoy your warm up and sunny weather this weekend.

Brisk morning. Got the pup out to the WMA early-before the mud melts. Nice run. She has always done best when the temp is low.

The valley is still not green.

    The Velociraptors apparently wintered well

And Piper seems to like this rock

I like that rock, but I don't think I can get it into my pickup.

Doug, your photos always look like a postcard or something from a travel brochure about the natural areas there.  So nice!  I especially like how Piper poses so perfectly when you include her in the pics.

Jackie, I can't believe you have baby tomatoes already.  I feel like we're ahead of other parts of the country because all our tulips and flowering trees are blooming --- but we don't see hints of tomatoes until late August.  The climate sure is diverse in this country (nothing like stating the obvious, Tracy).

I like the sounds of that drink -- the cayenne would add a fun kick.  It's a pretty color, too!

I'm feeling really sad about Roger Ebert's passing.  I watched "At the Movies" for years and years; I trusted his opinion about movies when I was undecided about seeing some of them.  Once he lost his ability to speak, he did even more writing besides movie reviews, and I've followed his blog for a long time.  Maybe that's why I feel more sad about his loss than other public figures who've died -- reading someone's blog kind of makes you feel like you get to know them more.  He was a thoughtful, insightful (and humorous!) writer, sharing deeply personal views on all kinds of things other than cinema.  From the way he wrote about his wife, they had a very special relationship.  I can't imagine how sad she must be feeling.  I know it's silly to think, but I hope he's reunited with Gene Siskel.  Despite their bickering on the show, they actually had a strong friendship.

So glad it's Friday.  I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow!

I am sad about exerts passing too. It is like an end of an era with both of them gone.

Glad to hear b is doing well!

Will you guys send some of that heat north a bit please? I just want 65 degrees and I will be happy. Heck I will be happy with mid 50s.although I am not om planning with all the sunshine we are having.

I just spent $255 at the vet. That is roughly $600 so far this year not counting flea/tick control.

Yaaay for Friday!  Yay for last day on my job!  Yay for spending some time on the beach w/my dog and then going to the training room to watch a new competition trainer w/her students.  All while hanging out w/a friend from CT whom I haven't seen in a while.

Let the drinking and dog adventures commence!  Happy Friday all!

I'll take a pitcher of those drinks :)

I went first thing this morning to get my lab work done so the dr. will hopefully have it for my physical on Monday. I was surprised at the amount of people waiting and my # was 92 and they were on 71. It took an hour but at least I got it done.

I came home and ate something and then left for my hair appt. Got home from that and took Shane for a long walk to burn off some of his pent up energy. Now I need to go work out but I really want to take a nap.

I will be leaving when the sun comes up in the morning for the fundraiser and hoping it goes well. Hopefully the weather will be okay cause if it's foggy and I'm on windy roads I don't know, I'll have one huge panic attack.

We had gorgeous sun here today. I had to work at two different campuses and one public school, but I did enjoy the sun while driving to the destinations.

It sounds like Bugsy is make good progress--yeah! Sometimes, though, you just have to zoom.

Doug, your pictures are great. I do miss having a springer :-) But I love the two I've got!

Tracy, see if you can find Early Girls or 4th of July tomatoes--they're ready in July here in NE. And, they're pretty decent for an early, full size tomato. I am so ready to really work in the garden, but it's still pretty cold out at night! It's supposed to be below freezing at night this weekend but then it's supposed to warm up.

Yikes on the vet bill! It seems the prices have gone up lately.

I, too, was sad about Ebert's passing. I don't see many movies, but if he said it was good, I took note.

Not much else here. I'm tired and the weekend is super busy, so I think it's early to bed for me. Hugs and good vibes for all who need them.
