She didn't Forget

    She didn't Forget

Jerry was so worried that Honey would forget him as he was gone for 5 weeks.  When he got out of rehab lat Wednesday, I came in first and put her outside to make sure he didn't have any complications getting in with his walker.  Youngest son followed with his bags.  As soon as Jerry got sat down, I let Honey in.

As soon as she saw him she went bananas,  She hasnever been one for getying to get in people's laps or jump up on them, but she sure tried to get oin Jerry's lap.  She just talked and talked to him, and she couldn't get close enough to him, talk to him enough or lick his face enough.  Her tail was going so hard she was actually teating her sides with it.  No fear, she didn't forget him.

Aw isn't that just wonderful!  That was a great reunion, for BOTH of them.  I'm sure it did Jerry a world of good.

PS tell him it takes more than 5 weeks for a doggie to forget someone she loves!  Oh, wait; I guess he knows!  He heee what a great photo.

How sweet!  Sandra, your description of Honey's behavior and the photo made me get a little teary-eyed.  What a special homecoming for Jerry.  I bet both he and Honey will sleep much better now that he's home!
