rwbeagles-do we have any toy suckers here?

Cheza has a blanket she sucks on. It's the blanket that the breeder sent home with us that had her mommas scent. It's since been washed so it probably doesn't have the scent anymore, but when she is tired she will lay on the ground and suck on it. I think its cute, but the blanket does get a bit gross.

Charlie sucks on a pillow when he is sleepy.  Definitely gross, but oh so sweet!

Bevo sucks his teddy bear.  He's had it since he was a puppy.  It's threadbare, & smelly, but he loves it!

Emma sucks on her foot. It's probably less gross than a toy, and I don't have to worry about ever replacing it... so I'm happy, LOL. 

 Logan has a winnie pooh stuffed animal (not a dog toy) that came with him.  He picked it out and they shipped him with Winnie.  He still sucks on winnie, particularly if he's in his crate longer than he wants to be. 

 Yep, nasty, stinky... and poor Winnie's nose is more like a beak now... so is his left bum cheek :)  But he loves it!
 

Remember Elmo?    His belly is soaked from Caleb sucking on it.  The funniest was when Caleb was younger, he'd whine and moan while he was sucking on Elmo.

Jill sucks..... on your wrist!! Ewww. She does it when she's just so excited and pleased to be with you that she can't express it. She wants to gnaw on you, but she eventually learnt that people don't like that, so she makes do with just sucking on your wrist. I often find myself just staring in morbid fascination as she coats my wrist in drool. It usually takes me several long, sloppy moments before I convince myself that yes, she is actually SUCKING on my wrist, not licking, not chewing, but sucking. She's such a nutcase.

Belle used to suck her toys. She had cow (that moo'd) and she would suck on the horns forever. However with Teddi in the house Belle won't play with toys unless she is trying to get Teddi to play with her. If Belle picks up a toy Teddi sees it as "it's mine!" and takes it from Belle. I wish Belle would snarl at her and say "no it's not!" It would not take much, she doesn't take toys from Max, only Belle.

My horse Sayler used to suck on your hand. He wouldn't bite you just hold it between his teeth and suck. It used to freak people out to see him with my hand in his mouth. He actually was weaned from his mother early, and raised by a GSD.
 

Ben likes to suck on stuffies, his doggy loofah, a green teddy bear and his dodo bird are favourites.

What's REALLY disgusting is that although he's quite gentle with stuffies, they do eventually suffer a terrible fate.  They are always his favourite ones and because I'm a softie and can't bear to take them away from him, I just pull the stuffing out and let him have the fabric body back.  Then he curls up and sucks on these limp sad shells of former stuffie glory.
