This morning I had my last of three dentists appointments for fillings. Now hopefully, I'm good until my next cleaning appointment in about 6 months, when they'll probably find some more. My dentist said, Well, maybe you just shouldn't get them cleaned. I said fine thing a dentist telling me not to get my teeth cleaned. :) He was kidding of course. Medication I take causes dry mouth and why I have so many problems.

It's raining here as well and looks like it will be for awhile.

Deb sorry about your problems with the penicillin. Nausea is awful. I don't take it as I had a reaction as a baby. It's one of 4 on my list that I can't take. They give me something else. I know there are not a lot that work for mouth and teeth problems but there is at least one other....but think I can think of what it is .....nope. Are you having both teeth pulled at the same time? I feel for you as I had the one pulled not to long back. Hopefully you won't go through the pain that I did. Don't know why, as when I had another pulled, not too many years back, I didn't remember it being so bad afterwards. Anyway, will be thinking of you and hoping for an easy extraction.

Tina you must have really had to bite your tongue when that woman asked about the race being rerun. I like what Jackie said. Yay on the siding!

Cathy happy to hear you are making some progress on your moving and bet you are very anxious to get it all done and moved in.

Ugh... the renters next door. We'd finally had enough of it tonight with their loud music (and the person on the other side was home, so they wouldn't know it was us). My mom tried ringing the doorbell and asking them to turn it down. It was so loud they didn't answer, so we just called the police. They sent an officer over. When the officer showed up, these classy people blamed the 4th grader, and sent him to talk to the cop. Umm... hello, it's 9 PM. You have a kindergartner and a 4th grader. School is not over yet. Why the hell are they up still, and why the hell would your kid be playing music that loud. Are you not a parent? Can you not tell him to turn it down yourself? Shortly after the cop left, the music went back on. We can still hear it in certain rooms, but not throughout the house and into the basement anymore. I suspect we'll be making more calls though. I also suspect we might be installing a security camera. We don't put it past these people to do something to retaliate.

I was totally shocked Sunday night to discover around midnight that it was actually raining and about 40 degrees cooler.  It didn't rain hard enough to clean anything off, just hard enough to leave everything dirty but there were about 3,000 lightening strikes (according to the news) which sparked a few fires. Once it gets to 106, you figure it's gonna be awhile before you have to drag out long sleeves and socks again. Really very odd weather.

DS #1 called to ask if I'd meet him at Wal Mart in West Sacramento to get him a bicycle baby seat, so I figured if I was going to be in that particular shopping center I may as well hit Home Depot and IKEA at the same time. Now I've got all the bark I need for awhile, some frozen Swedish meatballs, lingonberry jam and three patio lanterns with some yummy smelling tea lights to go in them. Smile

I just found out that one of the most fervent HB volunteers died of a heart attack today while out at HB. He looked fit and not that old, so the news in general is shocking. Mostly though, I think about what a sad loss it is to his wife and all the people who knew him. I worked with him last year on the Kibble & Bids fundraiser and he was so kind and appreciative. Rest easy ***. Many goldens will be happy to see you.
