Boss is leaving today on vacation -- I hate when he goes away LOL because then sure as I'm born SOMETHING will go FUBAR that requires his attention?? *rolling eyes* Some folks love it when the boss is away -- not me LOL
I'm with you Callie. I used to like my boss to be gone but have learned that everything goes wrong when they are. My boss left yesterday for a 8 week trip to Chile and somewhere I can't remember. He handed over a couple of things, such as approving personnel actions for our employees. I got one emailed to me today and panicked. It's for a small raise for someone and I assume he was or would be okay with it, but I don't know for sure. I went ahead and approved it and will hope for the best.
I spent more today at the house cleaning and unpacking a few things. The owner really did a nice job of cleaning everything, so I'm just doing a wipe down of all the drawers. It really is going to need some serious TLC but I try not to think about all the work involved. The formal dining room has some old, nasty grasscloth on it. Any idea on how hard that'll be to pull off? The more I look at the carpet in the formal living room and dining room, I realize it's going to need to be replaced...someday :)
