Perfect!  I knew you'd come up with something clever.  Sounds like a round of those may be in order today!

    What's everyone doing for lunch????

I had a BLT!  I usually have a ham and cheese or a similarly boring sandwich so this was a real treat.  I could have eaten two, easy.

    I wouldn't mind a bitch slap right now. :)

LOL Deb!!! I'm meeting a friend tomorrow for a drink and if it didn't sound like way more alcohol than I could handle, it'd be fun to say "I'd like a Bitch Slap"

Happy birthday ginger and Cathy's dh!

Lunch over here was a $2 slice if pizza at a place downtown. We were all feeling cheap today

Brrrrrr. I can't believe I am contemplating turning the heat on. Damn weather.

I am one step closer to buying my little trailer. I am going to haggle with a dealer tomorrow. I already set the stage so if all goes well I will have it this weekend! This means I will need to clean the garage.

First time I've been 'on' all day -- home again. Yesterday ended with lovely back/stomach muscle spasms and so much ugliness I want to forget it. (I was so nauseus we had to sit in the parking lot for an hour and eventually I had to crawl in the back to lie prone so we could get home -- it's tractioning that nerve that triggers the nausea). All side effects courtesy of the muscle-relaxers. Why do I have to be "Queen of the Side Effects". So today the dr. prescribed anti-nausea drugs so I can tolerate the muscle relaxers? It says a LOT that I'm taking drugs -- the magnitude of this ugliness is way beyond anything alternative. Ginger, I've missed you. Jackie - I missed it -- did you get the contract? Julie -- haggle on -- I hope you get the price you want! Deb and Tina -- there are times when I think some people are too dumb to breathe -- they really DO understand .. they just think if they act pathetic you'll cave and "bend the rules" for them. ugh good thots to all. Stormy day here -- it's black as night outside right now. Charlie is glued to my feet.

lol Deb....bitch slap!  Makes me wonder if THOSE are what some of the girls drink around here!  Wink  ETA:  ...by around here I mean MY neighborhood!

Feel better Callie.  I hear that furbaby snuggles heal wonders.

    Happy Anniversary Glenda!  <

Abbie, tell mom to stop running you so hard.  I bet she loved it though!

Happy 50th Mr Cathy!  How'd he luck out with such a youngin like you Cathy???  Wink

Happy Birthday to you too Ginger!  And we know there's going to be LOTS AND LOTS more to come!  When do we show up for the cake?

Huh?  The cleaning guy eh Jackie!?!?!  hehe

Lol Tracy, giving Deb some ideas are we?  She's soon gonna be at the end of the drink book I think.

I had pork chops, diced/baked/spiced potatoes, and blueberry cheesecake for dinner!  YEAH, the cheesecake was part of the dinner and not just desert.

Is the hockey game on yet?  GO LEAFS!

Happy Anniversary Glenda and Mr. G!

After a coupe of windy days, we settled into what can only be called perfect weather, at least for now.  Warm days, cool nights and no wind. I'm sure in another month, if not sooner, we'll be griping about the heat. I'm hoping to drag one of the boys to Home Depot to help load (and then spread) about 20 bags of bark. One bag sure doesn't spread very far! Saturday I need to do a Costco run since I'm out of chicken strips and pesto sauce and I'm sure they'll be handing out all sorts of neat goodies.

Callie, sorry you are still having such a bad time of it. Been meaning to get back to you on the message and just haven't gotten to it yet. I did want you to know that I did get it though. Move over, cause you need to share the "Queen of Side Effects Throne" with me.

Julie sorry about Abbie's raw paw. I'm really feeling bad, cause I was going to mention to be really careful about that and then didn't. Sorry Abbie. I did the same thing to one of my dogs many, many years back. They really need a chance to slowly toughen the pads to the hard surface and also to how hot those surfaces can be.

Hope DH had a good day for his birthday Cathy, even if he didn't care.

Sorry for you coworkers loss Ginger. So sad when any type of accident happens, but freak accidents....I guess it just reminds us that you just never know. Happy belated Birthday.

Happy Belated Anniversary Glenda and Mr. Glenda.

Hey Tracy, I might be moving to Eugene.....not seriously but it is one of the top best cities for allergy sufferers to live.

Hey Tracy, I might be moving to Eugene.....not seriously but it is one of the top best cities for allergy sufferers to live.

Maureen, are you only teasing about moving to Eugene, or are you also teasing about it being good for allergy sufferers?  I honestly assumed it'd be on the BAD list.  The Willamette Valley can be torture for allergy sufferers (mine are much worse here than they were in CT).  Between all the pollen from grass, trees, and everything that grows everywhere, plus the mold spores and things related to the damp climate, it's pretty bad year-round.  In fact, we had a neighbor with a child who had severe lung issues (beyond just asthma), and they were contemplating moving to Arizona.  At any rate, Eugene has other cool features, but maybe this is one I didn't know about!

Johnny, always good to "see" you.  Your dinner (especially the dessert part) sounded really delicious!

Edited to add -- Callie, I'm sorry you've had a set-back today.  Still sending lots of healing vibes to you.  And Joyce, we'd love some of your weather.  We're paying for that amazing weather we had earlier this month --- it's been so cold and rainy this week, I've had the heat on!
