I actually find the idea of giving up milk easier than giving up cheese. Has anyone else ever looked into the whole industry?
Yeah -- first off I've moderated a vegan website for about 15 years (and No, I am *not* veg*n of any sort). But I have tried it -- and particularly with psoriasis and dermatitis some dermatologists are convinced if you will simply give up dairy you're cured. No ... not me (and I HAVE done it but no no avail).
Be **very** cautious Cathy -- we women wind up with osteoporosis SO easily and the most readily available source of calcium is dairy. So you can cause some un-thought-of side effects by ruling dairy out of your life without making sure you eat the right combination of foods to compensate.
There are certain cheese I love, and a lot of it I never eat. My husband thinks I'm totally looney -- I will order French Onion soup with no bread/crouton and no cheese. Particularly if it's just mozarella on top. We're all so different.
And NOW I have to face the lunch I brought which is **NOT** PB&J and I would **so** rather have PB&J now!! LOL (Creamy Jiff with my freezer strawberry jam .... *sigh*)
