Prayers for my Aunt please (kpwlee)

The time is getting very near. My mom called this morning and she hasn't seen her in two weeks. My uncle (mom's brother) said that my aunt made him promise to not let people see her when she neared the end.

She is now too weak to get treatments and isn't eating or drinking much at all. Although no one is saying it my suspicion is a few weeks may be all we can hope for.

I feel so sad for my cousin's who lost their sister 5 yrs ago to cancer and now their mom. My aunt & uncle started dating when they were 16 and are now 72 - my mom was 14 when my aunt came into her life and they are like sisters (both had two brothers and no sisters).

I can palpably feel my mom's sadness for her brother and for my aunt and for her own loss.

Please send some prayers all their way, that the passing is gentle and that all that love her have a moment to say goodbye.

Thank you - all of you. I spoke to my mom briefly yesterday and the vibes clearly helped. Mom was able to spend a little time with her yesterday - mom sounded so relieved. She did say she is even thinner which is hard to imagine. As it is she needs special bandages to cover the bones of her lower spine so she can sit at all - otherwise it is just bone. BUt she can't sit much at all so I suppose that is mute now.

Anyway thank you again - most of us have been through this with loved ones - it never gets easier. I have hated cancer since I was about 10 and my uncle died of it. I cannot say the hatred lessens with time.
