So many good thoughts & vibes coming from PA to your SIL, her mom and all that love them.

You guys are so so so sweet.  Thank you all for your thoughs and prayers.  I spoke with my brother yesterday, they have to do up a will and powers of attorney for her.  They are not sure whether chemo/radiation will be okay for her, as she has lost a lot of weight and they are worried that by the time the chemo kicks her (my brother said they told him afte 10 or so days of it) that it will hurt her more.

She has to go for another MRI, but there is fluid all around her heart and she can't lay down, so until they figure that out she can't have the MRI.

All of your thoughts and prayers are so so appreciated.  You guys are the best

Thank you all soooo much for your thoughts and prayers!

I had dinner with my brother and SIL last night, and my SIL told me that her mother is coming home today, with oxygen tanks etc., and continuing the chemo.

The tumour is not very big, in her right lung, the complications are from cancerous fliud surrounding her heart and at the bottom of her lung, as far as I know, they haven't given a timeline, per se, of what the doctor's expect her life expectency is, but those are never really right anyway.

My SIL was worried because the homecare nurse they set her up with is a palative nurse, she was worried they were sending her home to die, I told her that they wouldn't send her home to die, and that perhaps they gave her a palative nurse so she could have the extra help.  My SIL agreed. 

I truly appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers, I know for a fact that I-Dog prayers and vibes work miracles.  So thank you so much.  I couldn't ask for better friends than you guys

 You'd do the same for any of us; hope the chemo reduces the tumor and that she's around for a very long time. (((hugs)))

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.  Things were looking up last week, she was able to come home for a few days, then over the weekend she took a turn for the worse and was brought back to the hospital.  She passed away this morning at 8:20.
