• Even more good thoughts needed for my cat.... (Erica1989) erica1989 Posted : 9/9/2010 7:36:16 AM  I had posted Monday (I think) that we had to take my moms cat to the ER.Well... she was doing better, until last night. Her temp has spiked to 104, and the vet is really just not sure what is going on. She's on a lot of pain meds, and constant fluids. She's not sure that she is going to be ok at this point. My mom is completely distraught over this... this is HER cat, and they have a crazy bond with eachother. I brought her some cheese the other night, and she didn't even want to eat that (and this is a cat who will beg, borrow, steal and sell her soul for a piece of cheese) I'm going to see her tonight.... hopefully I'll know more after I talk to the vet again.
