Prayers for my step daughter *Updated 04/05/10

I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went smoothly. I hope she continues to make good progress. I'll keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Ginger, I'm not sure how I missed this tread until now.  I'm so glad that surgery went well, & we are sending good thoughts for a quick, uneventful recovery.

Thanks guys, according to my hubby, she is looking good today.  Still sleeping alot, both back and head drain tubes are out.  They had her standing for a short time this morning.  They are supposed to be moving her to a regular room today sometime.  She is not able to open the right eye, this is something the Dr. thinks will correct itself.  It is too soon to tell if there are any other problems just yet.  I do appreciate all of you keeping us in your prayers.

Good to hear things are improving. 

Sending out some positive Canadian recovery vibes for her...as well as some good ole prayers.  Hope all goes good from here on out.

Veronica is improving.  She got moved to a regular room last night.   She has been put on solid food, but didnt like what they gave her,lol!   They got her up this morning to take a walk down the hall.   She was able to get a shower and her hair washed this morning and Iam sure that made her feel more human again.  Hubby is going up there to give the granddaughter a break and he will sit with her this afternoon.   They will do another CT Scan today, according to hubby this is routine after this type surgery.

Ginger, sounds like she's doing well and getting moved to a regular room and a SHOWER is wonderful news!!  :)  I will keep you all in my prayers.

Just wanted to let you all know, Veronica is back at home.   They made it in finally late Friday evening.   Hubby was exhausted of course and ready for some pampering :)  Veronica was able to get her physical therapy transfered to Fayetteville where she lives.  They are actually going to come to her apartment to give PT,   This will help us alot, both financially and keep hubby from having to drive to town everyday.  She will get her clamps removed on Wednessday this week and will go back to Tulsa for a checkup in 4 weeks.
