Well I went to
class tonight with only Joker. Lillie is in heat so she got to stay
home. Let me tell you when I put Joker's crate in the car and I wouldnt
let Lillie in she wasnt a very happy dog. This is a dog that 2 months
ago you had to shove in the car and now you have to fight with her to
get out!!! Not really fight with her but you know what I mean.
Joker
was a punk tonight. He wanted nothing to do with walking nicely on the
leash or standing for me. He wanted to PLAY with the other pup in
class. I know he can walk good on the leash and stand because he has
been doing a great job all week long at home. But then again I have
been using bait with him and my trainer was having us lay off the bait
a little.
I have a dilemma. When I started these classes I had
no show potential dog. I have Joker who is to be my show dog. Now the
lady with the Irish Setters said she has 4 pups and if I wanted she
would be willing to let me handle one of them for her. My dream is to
show Irish Setters and now I have the opportunity to. Is it possible
for me to work with 2 pups to be show dogs? I am very new at this stuff
so I am surprised that someone is willing to let me handle one of their
potential champions. What am I supposed to do?!!! I really want to show
Irish Setters but I dont want to put Joker on the back burner because
he isnt my #1 favorite breed.
Is it possible for me a newbie to get 2
pups ready for showing?
