• Concern about Merrick BG dry foods... 24Pawsnclaws Posted : 9/12/2008 11:43:31 AM    I don't know about any of you but the inclusion of this ingredient in their pet foods REALLY bothers me : Ethylenediamine Dihydriodide     Here's some info from Wiki :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethylenediamine_dihydroiodide"      Here's a link to the MSDS Safety sheet on it :    http://www.durvet.com/MSDS/156_MSDS.pdf   Why would they not use a safer source of iodine like potassium iodide ???  I find this information disturbing  and think I'll avoid this food. Any of you who have dogs that are particularly susceptible to allergies should probably think twice about feeding it.  Leave it to Merrick to screw up what could have been a good thing.
